Blount Pride estimates 200 people will line the south side of Broadway, while Not Woke Tennessee hopes for 300 on the other side.
Permits say demonstrators plan to walk back and forth from the intersection of Broadway and Lamar Alexander to Cusick Road until 2 p.m., although they may extend as far as Norwood Street.
We can only hope all is calm, peaceful and no one gets hurt.
