From AC...

Dear Friends,

This coming weekend – on both Saturday and Sunday - brings the second annual Bijou Jubilee, a fundraiser to support the Bijou.

I know that every one of you is more that aware of what a true "jewel" the Bijou is and how lucky we are to have such an amazing venue in our community. It’s truly in a class of its own.

We are very proud to note that the Bijou continues to operate successfully, gaining momentum every year since its reopening in 2006 even in these challenging economic times. But the restoration and preservation of the Bijou cannot depend on earned income alone, which is one of the reasons that the Bijou Board of Directors has launched this annual fundraiser and celebration.

On Saturday evening at 8pm, the one and only Emmylou Harris will perform. I’m sure that I don’t need to tell any of you on this list how special it will be to experience Emmylou in the Bijou. There are only a very few tickets that remain as of this writing, premium seats that will go to support the Bijou’s fundraising efforts. If you aren’t already, I hope you’ll consider purchasing a couple of these last remaining tickets and joining us on Saturday evening.

Sunday's activities are included on the attached flyer. Included are free tours of the Bijou and some exciting music workshops hosted by some of our finest local talent. And it culminates with several of Knoxville's finest singer/songwriters on stage together and emceed by Todd Steed....Scott Miller, RB Morris, and Jill Andrews.

We will have an information/Friends of the Bijou table set up Saturday night and all day Sunday.

Please print the flyer and share/post the link with your circle of friends or anyone that might be interested. More details on the website...

Hope to see you there!

Ashley
