Knox County On Questions

Hey did you guys miss me... been busy lately but I am back...

Now to the topic at hand... Knox County One Question!!!

What a bunch of crap!!!

Look at the list and look who is funding it... all this is about is metro government... if metro government is so great why is there only one metro government in the state of Tennessee... I also understand that there are only rough numbers 36+/- metro forms of government if the USA...

comments please...

Commissioner Moore and City Councilman Bailey have both proposed looking at metro or unified government. Metro or unified requires throwing out the current city and county charters. 'One Question' proposes using the current, home rule charter, to make changes in government based on citizen input.

I am sorry you have been out of the loop on the commitment of Knox County One Question to the current home rule charter. I don't know where you got the information about metro.

Harber still has influence?

The website lists former National Public Strategies employee Josh Burnett as one of the steering committee members.

I guess Harber and his crew still have some pull in this town!
