Gee, now that my president has deemed me not just a defeatist and friend to terrorists, but an enabler of genocide, I'm much more apt to see the wisdom in his strategy and grant him my support.

I heard them discussing this

I heard them discussing this speech on Air America earlier. One question they brought up, should we still be in Vietnam? Another was, easy for him to say, he didn't go to Vietnam.

Remember all the hubbub way

Remember all the hubbub way back when some schlub posted a video at Move-On comparing Bush to Hitler? Now we have the president of the United States calling his critics - the majority of the American people - abettors of mass murder. It's astonishing.

He really is the Freeper-in-Chief:

I'll never forget the time I arranged to spend all day debating Freepers. I introduced myself as a proud leftist. Someone posted the famous picture of the pile of skulls from the Khmer Rouge massacre and asked if I was proud of that.

So, if I'm hearing this

So, if I'm hearing this correctly, Bush just upped the ante to 50,000 dead American soldiers if we want to call his hand on his illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Raising the bar....

He's the one creating a genocide...

We've aligned ourselves more and more with one side in the civil war in Iraq. Ethnic cleansing is already taking place. Our presence there is quite possibly aiding this. Maybe that is the long term strategy? To let the most powerful faction in Iraq simply get rid of the other for us. Then peace will reign throughout the land.

debaser

Bush must have missed the op-ed in the Sunday NY Times written by several American soldiers serving in Iraq. They argued that our occupation is only serving to delay whatever resolution Iraqis will salvage from the mess we made.

But, hey, chalk up "wait until September" as yet another gratuitous line of BUllSHit from the Commandeer of Cheat. KBR has a 10-year contract with the Army, and by God they deserve 10 lucrative years!
