Via Ironing the Flag....

...from the day Germany declared war on the US (December 11, 1941) to VE day (May 8, 1945). This is 1244 days. The Invasion of Iraq began on March 20, 2003 at 21:34 EST when the US began their first air strike on Baghdad.

On August 15, 2006 21:30 EST the United States will have been at war in Iraq longer than it was at war with Germany in World War II.

The Germans were obvious wimps with no staying power compared to the "terrists"...Either that or they had no oil, or were no longer of political value.

Shows the relative value of bunkers compared to caves....

If the Bush administration

If the Bush administration really made the world a safer place, the GOP would lose its only political advantage of being able to extort the voters with fear.  With a name like "Bush," would you really expect things like "success" or "accomplishment"?  Duh!!

Don't bother the Vacationer-in-Chief with such meaningless "facts" and "statistics."  It's hard work!

There! We did it...As of 49

There! We did it...As of 49 minutes ago...A new record for stupidity and pandering.

I guess I hate freedom because it's...well...free. Can't make money on it. Not American...republican, anyway...
