Recovery tracker with funding breakdown and list of county projects from ProPublica.org.

Knox-Tenn Rental sits on a pretty sweet piece of property in my opinion and I'm curious to know what big plans they have for those 1.6 million borrowed dollars.

Curious indeed... Maybe it's a part of the larger renovation going on in the N. Broadway - Central corridor?

The entire list is pretty curious.

Knox-Tenn Rental does have 3 locations in Knoxville.

It's nice that individuals and private business are able to take advantage of these government funds, not just UT and the city/county.

KnoxTenn

Knox-Tenn only has two locations in Knoxville -- Central and Middlebrook.  The third is in Tri-Cities.

Some Knoxville projects not included.

I found a few on the city's stimulus website that don't seem to be here.

Like this one for instance, which I think could do wonders

Traffic Flow Improvements ($666,000) – funds will be used to upgrade the timing hardware in the city’s traffic signals

Oak Ridge has over 800 million in stimulus funds

Oak ridge has three of the five largest stimulus projects in the state.

At least some of it is going to cleanup.

Melton Valley Monitoring Wells This project involves the installation of groundwater monitoring wells to monitor and detect any potential off-site migration of contaminants from waste storage and disposal areas located in Melton Valley. The monitoring results from the well installation will confirm or refute the existence of any contaminants and may be used as the basis for future remedial actions, if required.
