We in south Knox county are so proud of Commissioner Victoria DeFreese. I especially want to thank the Commissioner for making me laugh my, umm, head off on what had so far been a crappy day.
McNutt parody here. Sorry, Scott, this is one of those cases where the original is the parody.

Hahahaha. You can't make this stuff up.
R Larry's reaction is the
R Larry's reaction is the funny part. He sounds jealous. I'm happy to see DeFreese doing something productive.
the model patron of the arts
ourlarry will be really pissed when our model announces her bit part in Shakespeare on the Square....
Productive? Perhaps. But,
Productive? Perhaps. But, certainly related in no way to her role on the County Commission. I don't want to see commissioners using official stationary to publicly announce they are playing golf for some disease, building a habitat home, or collecting canned goods at a food drive. She's developed a bad case of "look at me now" lumpyitis.
Well, I decleah and fiddle
Well, I decleah and fiddle de dee. Yah have to be intested in mah whole life and how it is spent. You're just jealous because everyone would rather look at me. Fiddle de dee, we'll deal with it tomorrow.
Much Ado About Nothing
Curious that the KNS devotes column inches to this and zero, none, zip, nada, to our middle-age mayor and his embarrassing escapades, the $40,000 grant money that went missing, and any in-depth reporting about the stinking compost testing... Trying to distract reader's attention from anything important?
KNS motivation
Didn't DeFreese send out a press release? Wasn't she asking for attention? Isn't the KNS only giving her what she wanted?
She did.
And it was over the top - but it's not the job of the newspaper to "give her what she wanted." They could have easily ignored it.
IMO DeFreese & RLarry are
IMO DeFreese & RLarry are both ridiculous a good deal of the time. If the KNS shares that with its readers, I'm ok with it.
I agree with Rachel
Here are two narcisists that are just trying to "share the stage." Let's thank the KNS for this so-called news story. Thank you for wasting our time
VICTORIA PINKSTON
I CANT DECIDE IF ITS VICTORIA PINKSTON OR PAUL DEFREESE. YOU SEE HER MOUTH MOVING BUT HIS HAND IS IN THE PUPPET. ONLY ACROSS THE BRIDGE WOULD SHE BE CALLED A MODEL
ONLY ACROSS THE BRIDGE WOULD
Hey, dude/dudette. What you talking about? You dissing SoKno?
You dissing SoKno? Yeah.
You dissing SoKno?
Yeah. Only those of us who live there are allowed to do that.
