What: Vintage Trouble at the Bijou
When: Wednesday, September 10, 2014 - 7:00pm
Where: Bijou Theatre
Y'all might want to check out this show. Vintage Trouble has been around a while, but they're one of my favorite recent discoveries. Tickets went on sale today, and they are fairly cheap.
P.S. Big thanks to AC for bringing them to town!

What a great show! Love the acoustic set.
"The new protocol of soul"
What an incredible, high-energy rock and roll soul review! Never seen anything quite like it.

(in reply to R. Neal)
Definitely lots of energy. He was standing on the seat arms. He walked half the way down to the stage on seat arms.
Wonderful show
I loved Vintage Trouble and the Bijou was the perfect venue to see them. What a high energy show! Best comment I've seen is that VT is like seeing James Brown fronting Led Zeppelin. Must see this band live to really appreciate!

(in reply to Lisa Starbuck)
Ty Taylor is a force of nature. I have never seen energy like that from a front man. And he sure knows how to work the crowd. Tight band, big sound, too. All of those guys are serious pros.
Vintage Trouble
Think what it would have been like if the lead singer had been properly mic-ed for the first 30 minutes...or if when he made some his incredible across-the-stage move there had been any light on him.

(in reply to Mike Cohen)
Yes, it took them a bit to dial in the mix. Sounded great after that, although a little loud there at the end. Gotta remember to bring ear plugs.
Did y'all see Gloria Johnson
Did y'all see Gloria Johnson rocking out down front at the stage?
Frontman
Yes, Taylor is a wonderful entertainer - both vocally and his stage presence. I loved it when he came off the stage, went up the aisle, up into the balcony, then back down walking on the seat arms, and singing his heart out right in the midst of everyone and two seats over from me. Also, at the end of the show the whole band came right through the crowd giving out high-fives and shaking hands. I got a hug and a kiss! And yes, Gloria was rockin' at the front of the stage the whole concert. Great experience!
