Knoxville's District 18 State Rep. Martin Daniel (R) says he won't seek reelection. Most recently, he barely beat Democrat Greg Mackay by a few hundred votes to keep his seat.
The primary is in August. Knoxville attorney Virginia Couch announced her candidacy for the Democratic nomination last week. Compass reports that Republicans Steve Hall, James Corcoran and Eddie Mannis are considering runs for the GOP nomination.
