Does #9 now have his own byline at KNS?

Why would anyone subscribe to that (literally)?
Never liked KNS
Year after year after year it's the same old crap. Lately they have been really ramping up the political involvement though. Ever since Pat Birmingham took over it has been a lot of political articles with obvious bias and their website looks to have a policy of appealing to the lowest common denominator in order to drive up hits.
Too bad there isn't a good alternative. Metro Pulse isn't too bad but it's not really in my demographic, so interesting stories are few and far between. I can't tell the difference between the Shopper and the Focus now except the Shopper's a little thicker. I don't know if either of those last two do factchecking. Lots of the Shopper's political information reads like (and is about as well sourced as) something straight out of the National Enquirer, and the Focus doesn't even pretend it's a newspaper anymore. If there was a newspaper that ever resembled a cross between Etemenanki, Jayson Blair and the people that brought us the Iraq WMD "intelligence", it would be the Focus.
I guess that makes this town's best paper the Daily Beacon!
