You have a great view from

You have a great view from the Sunsphere and will be able to see what they do to the Amphitheater. I really like the blend of old and and new in the exhibit in up there.

As for the transit station putting it over dead space over james white parkway was brilliant. I heard it was some planners from MPC who thought of this and I hope they get credit. It connects the east to downtown and makes use of the existing parking garage for the coliseum. It even allow for retail to appear along Church Avenue later on.

We should have a lot more of this kind of thinking. Makes me even angrier that they shut down the planning school at UT. We even now have downtown design guidelines in place staffed by MPC folks and they are working with the city on the central broadway area. Kudos to planners and the city for working with planners. We now have a planner as head of Community Development.
