By way of NiT, here's the "leaked" Bonnaroo lineup.
Read the explanation of how the info was discovered. This seems to happen a lot. A while back someone was "poking around" a Nikon website in a similar manner and "found" the specs for a new Nikon camera that "accidentally" got published before they were supposed to.
I always wonder how "accidental" these "leaks" are and how is it that random internet surfers are able to just "stumble across" such info v. how much help they might "accidentally" be getting from marketing/PR types.
But I guess it can happen. Either way, it creates a lot of buzz. See, I'm typing about Bonnaroo right now!
UPDATE: The offical initial lineup is here. More artists to be announced.

Bonnawho? Bonnaroo!
Nothing like a music festival where anything goes. Interested to see what will have changed. I am a little behind though..I am presuming that bonnaroo was bought out by another company? If so i hope the free spirit will still endure. And very happy to see widespread panic is back in the line-up. Good job by the way on the info, I read today that the police would headline, but no further information would released untill tomorrow. Glad to have found and joined this site on the information highway.
Don't be overly confident, Doctor...
...sometimes we're the "misinformation" highway!
"misinformation highway"
Information right or wrong is still information. Sometimes the truth is overrated and to dull to acknowledge. This story is "inspired" by a true story.

Don't know about it being bought out. But if there was ever a free spirit in these parts who loved music of any and all kinds or worked harder to promote it than AC, I'm not sure who that would be.
And I don't know all the history of the event, but I'm recollecting that it's AC's love child.
At any rate, I believe I'm in tune with your sentiment, notwithstanding being too old to appreciate or even know who some of these artists are.
So it was leaked accidentally
accidentally on purpose.

What is "Bonnaroo"?
I know what the festival is, but where does the name come from?

It's all about peace, love and the music. And random hookups.
"Bonnaroo bought out"
It really boggles my noggin how unkillable this rumor is. There seems to be this widespread utter disbelief that something like Bonnaroo could ever possibly happen unless it was bought out & produced by a corpo-conglomerate like Clear Channel/MTV/Six Flags (those are the top three I hear over and over). It's always been and still is an AC Entertainment/Superfly event.
