It's 36 degrees and that's predicted to be the high temperature for the day. Winds are pretty strong.

Kroger's in Maryville was packed yesterday.

Speaking of Tiny Princess

Speaking of Tiny Princess Gracie, Miniature Schnauzer, the Westminster Dog Show is Monday and Tuesday.

Part of their description of Miniature Schnauzers:

He makes an excellent companion because he is obedient, quick to learn, devoted to his owner, spunky and fearless.

Obedient when she wants to be obedient. They forgot to mention independent.

His deepest need is to live as part of the family, going where they go and doing what they do.

Works for us.

It did sound kind of warm, didn't it?

We know quite a few people in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota. It's almost embarrassing to discuss cold weather with them. You can just feel the grins on their faces when you say 19 degrees and 6 inches of snow.

With the wind chill, the temperature yesterday for the afternoon walk was 17.

It's 19 degrees right now. May hav to wait until 10 AM for a walk today.

On the 10 AM walk yesterday,

On the 10 AM walk yesterday, it was 25 degrees, sunny and beautiful. I was surprised at how many people were in the park; jogging, walking their dogs, playing with youngsters in the playground. One lady said, laughing, her face was frozen.
