Term-limited Mayor Madeline Rogero announced her eighth and final budget on Friday.

The mayor said that during the remainder of her term she will focus on finalizing acquisition of the St. Mary's property for a new police and fire headquarters.

Mayor Rogero also said she is continuing talks to relocate Smokies baseball back to the city, but would leave the final decision up to the next mayor and city council.

The Mayor noted the city's work on affordable housing. According to her office, the city has invested $45 million that has leveraged an additional $186 million from partners, resulting in the creation or rehabilitation of 4,277 units of affordable housing.

• $3.7 million for greenways, improvements at Ijams, Fort Kid, Fort Dickerson Quarry and other parks.

• Increased funding for the Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center.

• Increased funding for community schools programs in center-city schools.

• $13.3 million for KAT, including a new free trolly service to the South Waterfront.
