Several good candidates, but it seems like Rep. Katie Porter would be a good Cabinet or maybe VP candidate.

How Congresswoman Katie
How Congresswoman Katie Porter May Have Just Saved Your Life
Porter asked, "Dr. Redfield, do you want to know who has the coronavirus and who doesn't? Not just rich people but everybody who might have the virus?"
He answered, "All of America,"
...
Redfield still tried to hedge, saying he needed to "see how to operationalize that." Porter trimmed this final hedge, "Dr. Redfield, you don't need to do any work to operationalize. You need to make a commitment to the American people so they come in to get tested. You can operationalize the payment structure tomorrow."
...
Redfield replied, "I think you're an excellent questioner so my answer is yes."

Seems pretty sharp. And tough. She's only been in Congress for a little over a year, though. And a couple of good performances in committee hearings don't automatically translate into proof of executive leadership/management ability. If that were the case, Kamala Harris would the presidential nominee. (Mr. Biden, please don't pick Harris.)
Why not?
Why don't you like Harris for VP?

(in reply to Treehouse)
She was my first choice for the presidential nomination, mainly based on demeanor and cross-examination skills during Senate committee hearings. I started paying attention to her rallies, stump speeches and TV appearances. Some of her speeches were pretty good. But I started getting a feeling that something was off about her. She started seeming superficial or not serious or something. She also seems to have some sort of lack of maturity or lack of self confidence/awareness or some kind of weird personality trait I can't quite figure out. Her (sometimes maniacal) laughing at her own (sometimes lame) jokes really puts me off, too. Anyway, something's not right so I moved on.
Hmm.
(in reply to R. Neal)
Surprisingly subjective analysis. But that is how people make decisions. Personally, I think they all make strained laughter at stupid jokes, and there is something seriously wrong with anyone who imagines that they could be president.
I'm still hoping for a Biden/Abrams ticket, then Harris for AG and Warren for Majority Leader in the blue senate.
