Rep. Rick Womick
Rep. Rick Womick (R-Rockvale) thinks terrorists are targeting state lawmakers and wants super top double secret security clearances for himself and a handful of other state legislators so in case of an electromagnetic pulse attack they can be spirited away to a secure and undisclosed location where I guess they can continue their work to preserve our God given right to bear arms without interference from public education or Obamacare. Or something.
Regarding the electromagnetic pulse bombs, Womick apparently told a House Subcommittee this week that "We had one go off just down outside of Shelbyville. It’ll be two years ago this summer. Nobody knows about it. It was in the paper."
OK, then.
For more info about the threat, tune your tinfoil hat frequency to the Nashville Scene's Pith in the Wind I-Team, which is investigating.

This bozo obviously doesn't know that these things are useless unless properly grounded. Of course, he may have the ground strap running down the back and hidden in his jacket.
Good observation. He should
Good observation. He should look into building himself a portable Faraday Cage he can wear around the Capitol.

Or wearing a "wireless ground"
Nobody knows about it.
It was so damn big nobody noticed. Or it had the intended effect of wiping out everyone's mind. Actually, there could be something to that.

OMG
Stacey's not the biggest nut on the tree.
So who is?
Stacey
(in reply to Bbeanster)
Don't kid yourself. Stacey's still the biggest nut on the tree, it's just that it's a big tree with many nuts, and while you were distracted by observing the biggest one, its near twin has just hit you in the head. Buy an umbrella and take cover. The wind blows in from the right.
Yup.

And the crazy rain falls on the just and the unjust.
Let's declare him 'certifiable', it's cheaper.
This reminds me of the bunch of 'patriots', back in 2003/04 in Erwin TN (if you don't know where it is, don't bother trying to find it) who decided to be 'Homeland Security agents'. The put on masks, grabbed their guns and 'invaded' a city council meeting. One gal almost had a coronary, folks scared to death...yeah, spreading fear is still the way...
But since we have no mental hospitals now, this loon should be jailed...until he 'comes to'.
We Parade the Crazy
Our church sign elves have once again been busy in the night.

Is this performance art, or has the guy gone off the deep end?
(This is re. a proposed bill to ban UN election observers from the state. A bill that the AG said is unconstitutional. A bill that died in committee for being so stupid.)
