I read Tom Humphrey's article predicting that since there is more than a 600 mil. shortfall in the budget that the new GOP leadership may spend their time on stuff like limiting abortion and expanding gunrights. That sure sounds like clinging to your guns and religion during hard times to me. I wonder if the country as a whole will start turning around and Tn. will get worse. Sometimes about the best I could say about our Democrats is that they kept the worst of the anti-abortion and anti-gay stuff from going through.
I don't know why the crazy Kansas church thinks America or especially Tn. is so tolerant by a look at all the anti-gay marriage stuff that passed, including in Ark. that bans unmarried couples from adopting or keeping foster childern. Thanfully the worst of the anti-abortion stuff that would have made them illegal in Col. and S.D. did not pass.
