The Washington Redskins lost at home last night.

Why does that matter to Obama, you may ask?

Because for 17 of the last 18 Presidential elections, if the 'Skins win the home game before the election, the incumbent party keeps the White House. If the 'Skins lose, the incumbent party loses the White House.

Note that they lost at home in 2004, which should have meant defeat for George Bush. However, that still gives them an accuracy rate of 94.4%.
