Jurors in Ted Stevens' corruption trial discovered a mistake in the Alaska senator's indictment Monday, an embarrassing gaffe for Justice Department prosecutors that could benefit the senator.
Just an honest mistake. Nothing to see here. Move along now.
This trial has been one big circus. First the jury asks for one of its members to be dismissed because she's screaming and yelling and can't get along with anybody. Judge says no. Then another (presumably) juror's grandparent dies and the judge halts deliberations while that person goes to California. Once they get there, they disappear and the court can't find them again. So the judge replaces that juror with another one.

This will be interesting and may play on the future of Sarah Palin.
The same contractor that was involved with Stevens is purported to have been the "contractor friends" that "helped" Todd Palin build the Palin home and the Wasilla Hockey complex.
Wow. Now he has to cut a deal to stay out of the pokey. At his age, he's a dead man. Does he start singing about what Alaska corruption is really like? What if this touches Palin?
