Nielsen Media Research says Obama ads are running more than two to one v. McCain in the key battleground states of Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Between October 6 and October 22, Obama ran 150% more ads (53,049 v. 21,106) than McCain, including 240% more ads in Florida at 15,887 v. McCain’s 4,662. Here's the breakdown by state.

In related news, this presidential election will cost more than $1.5 billion, and the total for presidential and Congressional races will exceed an unprecedented $5.3 billion, says the Center for Responsive Politics. According to their analysis, Democrats and incumbents have the upper hand in fundraising. They also note that 527 fundraising has declined.
