Political Insider: McCain Off Message

Sen. Barack Obama's campaign counted ten different themes used by the McCain campaign today alone -- none of which were about the economy.

Are Republicans this desperate, or are they setting expectations so low that Democrats will sit back and coast? Either way, I don't trust any conventional wisdom, or polls, at this point.
