Obama Asks you To Help Bob Tuke, I Ask You To Help Bob Scott

America needs change.

In a letter I just received, Barack Obama asks us to help Bob Tuke who is running for the US Senate. This is great, send a contribution to help Bob Tuke get the word out that there is choice for change in the Senate too. Visit: Link...

But I ask you to help Bob Scott who is running for US Congress. Bob Scott is fighting an uphill battle against a candidate who is well entrenched. Unlike the current neocon(gressman), who parrots the disinformation on global warming spread to confuse the public on the scientific understanding, Bob Scott (an engineer and educator) will act on good science. Please visit Bob Scott's web site at: Link...
There you can contribute to his campaign to unseat a congressman who may boast of his willingness to break with the Bush / Cheney WORST administration ever, but has never ever voted against it when the vote was close and it really mattered.

In addition to a president for change, we need a congress for change. Bob Tuke and Bob Scott will not be obstacles to progress for which the nation is calling

I got a similar e-mail from

I got a similar e-mail from the Obama campaign, asking me to help Steny Hoyer here in Maryland.

Considering he's effectively running unopposed, I'm not going to devote too much effort...

(He does have an opponent, but that's about as meaningful as the poor Democrats who ran against John Duncan back during the Eighties.)
