Rep. Michele Bachmann wants Congress investigated in order to rout out the "anti-Americans" there.

This Sarah Palin look-alike today called for an investigation by the media in order to flush out the secretly anti-American people we have elected to Congress. A page right out of McCarthyism, and this was in concert with a huge wave of renewed attacks againt Barack Obama. Today the Republicans were robocalling and appearing everywhere suggesting this Bill Ayers fiasco was part of a consistent anti-American sentiment on the part of Barack Obama. They were still calling his brief encounters with Ayers "paling around". The whole thing is very distasteful, but more than that it reveals that these McCain supporters really do believe in a whacko conspiracy heory that "liberals" (shudder-shudder) have some evil plan to bring down America. Nancy Pelosi and Henry Reid are two examples of the anti-Americans they are warning about.

is that it might encourage nutcases including white supremacist groups to feel they have no choice but to go out and commit murders because they feel they are defending this country, much like Adkisson did in the recent church shooting here in Knox county.
The blood of innocent people could very well end up on her hands...
The only redeeming thing I can see at all, and this is a real stretch to call it redeeming, is that she calls for the media to investigate, and isn't calling for HUAC to be reestablished.

When we have nothing to add to the dialogue but cheap shots that really tells the rest of the world we certainly are open minded and fair and not a left or right wing nut.

My mind was spinning around like a firecracker when I heard that Chris Mathews interview. I was so incensed I forgot to add any links. I think this is a very frightening turn of events.
Michelle Bachman is an idiot. Seriously, she's really stupid. Chris Mathews led her around by the nose in this interview, and she was too dumb to even notice.

Oh, as if the left isn't allowed to make a small joke that's hardly derogatory, at least compared to the words from those it was said about. Have you bothered to also admonish people of Johnstown, PA?

.. in the House of Representatives.
Behavior like this is an impeachable offense.
Carol, links to news blurbs about this would help.

(Add another 'n' to her last name Bachmann).
She's got those Children Of The Corn eyes -- like Cindy Mac.

If she had her way she'd lock us all up or worse.
Eh, I'm probably on her List already since I'm a great big homo.

Chris was feeding her the rope and she hung herself by her outright hatred for anyone who was not like her.
On further thought, you must mean Children of the Damned.
