The New York Times reports on voter registration irregularities in several swing states and in the South.
The problems are mostly related to confusion about federal law. Unfortunately, the purges and "flagging" of voter records may disproportionately affect Democrats because of the large number of new voters registered as a result of Democratic Party and Obama campaign registration efforts.
