The Huffington Post reports that Hillary Clinton has summoned top donors and backers to New York for an important speech tomorrow night.

The same report also says that her campaign has told workers to turn in their expense reports by the end of the week and that advance workers are being let go (which would make sense, because there aren't any more primaries after tomorrow).

In related news, Bill Clinton told a crowd in South Dakota today "I want to say also that this may be the last day I'm ever involved in a campaign of this kind."

I think most sane people are

I think most sane people are sad for the Clintons, but prepared to move forward. The fighting will be uglier now, but at least we won't be fighting each other. The Clinton and Obama camps are the good guys. Now, let's get some good guys in control.

Let's hope that truer words were never spoken.

Hell, yeah.

Hillary is a Super Delegate

I think most folks have forgotten that. (Bill too)

Now she has the opportunity to be the ultimate team player this election cycle by endorsing Obama. 30 or so Supers are rumored to be coming out for Obama tomorrow ahead of the Primary results.

Rumor also has it...Well, we'll see if Rumor knows Diddley.

;)

I would honestly give anything, I don't know why, but I would give anything for a reason to respect her. Even if just one seconds worth.

She has the power to heal the rift. No one else does.

HEY NEAL.

Knoxviews would be the best place for a reconciliation thread so we can all kiss and make up. You get the most hits of all of us.

If you're up to it.

all the primary foolishness

all the primary foolishness will soon be forgotten. The nation and the Dem party needs Hillary Clinton, and she brought out a ton of voters. Despite the media spin about the divisions at the RBC meeting this weekend, Stephanopolous actually said it best when he said that perhaps the more strident Obama and Hillary supporters were interviewed by the media, but that this is indeed a unified party. (paraphrasing.)

Compare her run for prez to previous women, including Carol Moseley Brown and Liddy Dole. Hillary has come so far--and will go further.

She is an attorney... Attorney General? Now that would be interesting... Perhaps even better than VP. Although I'd hate to lose a D Senate seat from New York.

While I have supported Obama, rather than running the Clintons out on a rail, I would rather people said "Thank you, Hillary." The inside baseball drama needs to be forgotten by both sides in the most hotly contested primary race in modern history. I think both are still standing with their dignity intact.

Let's move on to the general.

Does anyone remember that

Does anyone remember that President Obama will need Sen. Clinton in the Senate.

Somethings I think some of the Obama supporters think that Sen Clinton will just evaporate when the election is over.

No Matter Where you go, There you Are!!!!

The Last Day of Primaries

We've been talking about this campaign
for a good yr & 1/2

Never ever in the history of the country
have we had such a race.

The first woman or African-American
would be the nominee.

Knox County set a record
voting 38K in the primary!!!!

Bill & Hillary

The Clinton's have been campaigning together
since '72 when they went down to Texas
& worked for McGovern.

Together they have climbed the highest mountain
& hit the lowest vally.

In the begining this campaign was about them.

The third 2 for price of 1 run for the White House
& in the end it be hard for history
not to it view that way.

But starting in Ohio & Texas Hillary's
campaign became about Hillary.

The Senator against all odds fought back
winning must win primary after must win primary.

It was a sight to behold.

The Senator was running the young insurgent
ragged.

Could win both states tonight.

But the delegate lead Obama piled up
between 2/9 & 4/11 has proved to be
insurmountable.

IT WILL BE OVER..WHEN IT'S OVER

Reports have been flying around all morning
& will continue till Obama hits 2118.

IS IT OVER...I MEAN REALLY OVER!!???

RIGHT NOW!!??

IN A MINUTE!!??

NO WAY!!??

TONIGHT!!??

TOMMORROW!!??

Soon..it will end soon.

But my friends..savor this historic moment

The campaign for the ages

Coincidentally, that's the year McCain plans to withdraw troops from Iraq.
