My small position at the Times was eliminated last year soon after they lost the Metro Pulse printing job when Scripps bought the MP. I think a few others may have quit or were let go then as well. Anna Irwin who died last year was a beacon of common sense at the paper and I don't know how much is left up there since her passing. I haven't read them much since then but thought they put out a decent product.
