Planned Parenthood of Middle and East Tennessee (website) presents FYI: Framing Choice, a photography exhibit by participants of PPMET's FYI peer education program, tonight, 5:30PM at the Emporium Three Flights Up Gallery in Downtown Knoxville. The FYI program is completing it's first year. As their final project assignment, FYI participants chose photography to express what the program has meant to them.

Their photography will be exhibited at the FYI "graduation" party and benefit this Thursday, 5:30 PM, at the Emporium's Three Flights Up gallery. Teen participants will also speak about their experiences in the FYI program.

FYI is a peer education and guidance program for teens who educate their peers about the issues facing them regarding sexuality and relationships. They work on everything from building self esteem and acknowledging depression to birth control, pregnancy and STD’s.

What: FYI: Framing Choice graduation party and photo exhibition

When: Thursday, April 24th, 5:30PM to 8PM

Where: The Emporium Three Flights Up gallery, 100 S. Gay Street, Knoxville TN (corner of Gay and Jackson, parking at the NW corner of Jackson and Gay)

The event is free and the public is invited. Donations will be accepted. Make checks payable to PPMET and note "FYI" in the memo. FYI photography will also be for sale. If you can't attend, you can make an online donation.
