We were out running some errands this afternoon, and took detours on a couple of Dogwood Trails. The dogwoods aren't quite ready in some places, past prime in others, and generally not looking all that great this year. The redbuds are very nice, and there are some spectacular azaleas. Photos after the break...

The severe weather never materialized, and it was a nice day for a picnic and catching some rays at the Cherokee Trail park in Sequoyah Hills.

Ooooo...The colors!

I love this time of year. Fall color is nice but the spring pastels can't be touched for beauty.

And, Really nice work, Randy.

Randy, again you out did yourself. Great photos! The backdrop of the blue sky's is unreal. And I have to agree with Pam, the last photo was the finale.

That (last) photo is cool.

Any know reason why the dogwoods don't seem to have as much of a pop?

I'd rather be cycling.
