Since when has sidewalk maintenance been considered a priority in this area? I suspect the vast majority of Knoxville pedestrians are much more troubled by the inadequacies of the sidewalk system than they are by a few pieces of art displayed thereon.

I liked the idea proposed in the previous discussion that there be an Elvis on every block. Can't have too much Elvis.
My family had great fun "bear spotting" when they were new but perhaps it is time they were retired.
One more thing though. No developer should be allowed to turn a street over to the city or county unless there are sidewalks. If we build them they will walk.
