The Answer: 28:1
What is the question?
a. The odds of the UT Men's basketball team winning the national championship.
b. the likelihood of east Tennessee lake levels returning to normal this year.
c. Bear Stearns debt to income ratio.
the answer after the flip.
Just heard on NPR that Bear Stearns only had 3% equity on hand, with a 28:1 debt to income ratio. Now I'm not an economist, but I sure hope someone asks Senators Alexander and Corker how the hell that happened.

Notably the writer of the article does not reveal what proven oil reserves are on the 68 million acres. Are we to believe that the oil companies are so corrupt that they would rather drill in northernmost Alaska, under the most extremes of weather, than in the 68 million in the lower 48? I think the geologists with the oil companies know more about the location of oil reserves than the politicians who wrote this Bill.
