I figured he would take over South Fork Ranch so he could still look in the mirror and see JR looking back at him. He could take Miss Ellie and Bobby and for God's sake don't forget Sue Ellen.
And he would be close to that big new library full of shredded paper and videotape ashes.

I mentioned this to my Mom in Law and she was surprised that I didn't think George would go to Crawford. She didn't know that the Crawford ranch is a stage set, constructed for the 2000 campaign.
And anyway...Why get stuck on a miserable 1500 acre ranch in Texas if you're afraid of horses? Especially when your family owns a several hundred thousand acre ranch in Paraguay, where you'll be much harder to extradite!
