In fulfilling my habit of reading the obits, I just discovered the notice of Joanne Renfro's death. Coming so close on the heels of her grandson's untimely death, this might be a good time for prayer or spirit dances or a sympathy card to help this family get through what has become a very dark winter.

I too visit the obituary pages daily. Very often I see a picture and think, "There's a person that I wish I had known."
I can't help wondering when I see something like this. Was Brad's death with all the press and unkind words about him a major factor in Mrs. Renfro's own death? Was she already frail and just gave up the will to live when hit with this tragedy?
I hope she was never exposed to all those nasty KNS comments.
Winter gloom is rough enough on the spirit of the elderly without the added burden she had to carry. F-Stop mentioned the other day about our situation now in Knox County where we no longer even get a pretty snowfall to cheer up a January. The days are just gray and brown.
That poor family. At least they are together.
