Sen. Obama is sending this misleading (lying) anti universal health care piece of mail out to voters around the country. Those of us who lived through the health insurance industry's war against Hillary Clinton's 1990s universal health care plan have been here before.
Obama having trouble with his campaign?

Unfortunately what the mailer contains is true...
How in God's name would Hillary enforce MANDATED enlistment in health care for the working poor? Fines? Imprisonment maybe? Wuld she garnishee wages? Oh, yes, I forgot. Cheap premiums? But hasn't that always been the big promise in the past? I'm sorry but I've lost faith.
Hill, in spite of being a female, does too often represent the status quo in her thinking. I can't blame the bloggers over on TN Women though. Feminists who have experienced a lot of hatchet jobs on women can't be blamed for seeing everything through the lens of anti-feminism.
I'm sure Clinton will revise and rewrite her healthcare many times before it ever goes into Congress for a vote. It will very likely look more like Obama's plan.
Symbolism
I'm sure Clinton will revise and rewrite her healthcare many times before it ever goes into Congress for a vote. It will very likely look more like Obama's plan.
Unfortunately, Hillary's plan, as it stands now, falls way short of Edwards and Obama's plan falls even farther away from Edwards.
FWIW, there are a lot of feminists that have rejected the symbolic vote and were looking at the issues. it's to our detriment that the issues were ignored.
This is nitpick-y and OT,
This is nitpick-y and OT, but I really, really wish Tennessee Guerilla (sic) Women would spell guerrilla correctly. Maybe there's a reason for the misspelling - some kind of statement about "womyn" or "wimmin" autonomy - but it just looks ignernt.
How about Gorilla?
A press that wanted to publish a book of mine titled "Guerrilla Housewife" refused to go forth unless I changed the titke. They said it conjured the picture of an ape in a pink apron mopping the floor.
Maybe it has to do with
Maybe it has to do with music, Guerilla Gig Live or Guerilla Black?
Nazis in Skokie
Too bad a Clinton supporter and advocate of health care mandates went a wee bit overboard and compared the mailer to the Nazis marching through Skokie, IL. Now THAT's desperate.

Boy, that's pretty rich,
Boy, that's pretty rich, coming from a supporter of a candidate who saw racism in the phrase "fairy tale". It's only desperation when it's the other campaign...
On topic, here's an article outlining some of the specifics on the candidates' health plans. Might help dispel some of the confusion...
