Thanks for this article. Charlie Acuff is my uncle and in the narrative you mention my father, Gale Acuff. They played together virtually all of my Dad's life. He died a little over a year ago. When I was young, we lived in Kentucky. Charlie would come to visit in his Henry J vehicle and he and Dad would play until all hours of the night. We didn't have air conditioning so I was afraid our neighbors would hear and know that we were hillbillies. Now, I love the music and frequently attend the Tennessee Homecoming in Norris. I am pround of my "hillbillie" heritage! Again, thank you for keeping the this heritage alive, Jama Acuff, Sharpsburg, GA
