New post-SC poll shows HRC up eleven points in Tennessee (link includes interesting analysis of election dynamics)

Hillary wins Florida decisively, showing a lack of momentum from SC for Obama...Everybody was on the ballot this time, to boot...

Florida Primary

The Democratic Florida Primary doesn't count. None of the Democratic Party candidates campaigned there, no rallies, no crowds no nothing. HRC's big "win" is absolutely meaningless - tho, that won't stop the media from talking about it. I mean what else are they going to talk about? The issues? Who's platform best addresses the issues, who has the best chance of getting policies implentated, and so on? That kind of reporting is hard work, it's so much easier to do the 'horse race' stuff. Easier and, besideds, it scores better ratings wise.

Take Care, Be Good and don't play in the street!

Plenty of folks would argue,

Plenty of folks would argue, and in fact are arguing, that it's not "meaningless" to win 50% in a large-state primary without setting foot there.

How is it "horse race" to report on a primary in the state that decided the 2000 election, and was pivotal in 2004, again?

I'm sorry but I have a hard

**EDIT** SteveMule's post was posted after I started writing my own. I appologize for the repetition. **

I'm sorry but I have a hard time calling Clinton's "win" a win. It's just a popularity contest, the Dems are punishing Florida, remember? No delegates.

(link...)

None of the candidates campaigned in the state, so all anyone can accurately take away from the Democrats' Florida Primary results is that more people recognized Hillary Clinton's name.

Uproar

Why do we not hear an uproar. Talk about disfranchisement, the democratic voters of two states are not being allowed to participate in the process....

Re: Uproar

"Talk about disfranchisement, the democratic voters of two states are not being allowed to participate in the process..."

What disenfranchisement? All parties involved knew the rules. The Florida Dems were screwed over by their state legislature (majority Republican) who purposely set the primary date to piss off the DNC. That's the way it goes.

If Florida Dems are so outraged, they can quit obsessing over the presidential race and pour some time and money into the state races so they can make sure this doesn't happen again.

BTW, the primaries are internal party contests. Voting rights laws do not apply to those. Same thing with caucuses.

By any means

Until last night I would have voted for ms. clinton but I can't vote for someone who does not keep her word or pledge.
You can dress it up and say you were just fund raising but we all know you were campaigning in Florida and you even gave a victory speech.
Ms. clinton you would have been my pick but you have shown me that you can't be trusted to keep your word so NO!!! you can not have my vote.
You have made me take another look at Mr. Obama he seem to be more trust worthy than you. so go home Hillary to your Husband and close the back door.
