WATE reports on the sad news that General Shale is shutting down its Riverside Drive facility and 65 people are losing their jobs during the holiday season.

Matt Edens, who doesn't even live here, reported this in the weekly Metro Pulse nearly a month ago. He got it from the Knoxville News Sentinel, who had reported it a week earlier than that.
