In case you missed it...

(Doesn't seem like the best PR move.)

I saw Mayor Cunningham on television last night. He sounded like he'd be right at home with Lumpy, Scoobie, and Grumpy.

Perhaps the good mayor needs

Perhaps the good mayor needs to get himself an ally, a suave, smooth talking man about town blogger to help him fight these hellions on their own turf and get his point across to the great unwashed.

He would need someone with a large and loyal following, a man out standing in his field.

Who could it be?

What about The Chairman?

meeting

Cunningham is more of a redneck than Moore. He was quoted in the Times right after he was elected as saying while he had an open door policy he wouldn't just sit and meet with constituents all day. I noticed also that Mr. Tiebot weighed in on wate, he's a local highly esteemed retired military guy that did alot of Kerry bashing in 04. I think wate is exacerbating the trouble with their online poll and reporting on a local man this week that has joined the Texas Minutemen. Its also got lost in their reporting that the woman in question had a green card or some work permit.
Also, The incest up there probably makes Knox Co. look good. I noticed that the Blount Co. Finance Dir. is also their GOP chairman.

The Blount County GOP chair

The Blount County GOP chair is not only the County Finance Dir but he is also the Assistant County Mayor- a very unelected position. It also means when the mayor ain't around, the Assistant mayor is the boss of County Finance Director. I guess he just looks in a mirror to yell at himself if he is bad.

Keep looking south folks because this show is just getting started....
