KNS has an article about a new addition to Ijams. It's another quarry site, adjacent to Meade's quarry. While this is surely going to be a another great addition to the nature center, it's also a great deal for the quarry owner, Imerys Marble.

Not only do they get a nice tax break for the donation, they will also be released from reclaiming and revegetating the area, cleaning up the lime kiln dust, and demolishing the buildings.
