I guess AT&T just needs some target for its Institutional Bigotry.

One more reason not to go with Cingular, I guess.

Not that I blame you, but

Not that I blame you, but you seem to be a little angry at AT&T lately.

I also can't imagine trying to fight (?) a company like AT&T. Kind of like trying to get the US Congress to do the right thing. Ha!

policy

I have a member in my family (overall family for me is a huge gothic group that numbers around 90 on any given day) that who works for AT&T, the part that used to be Cingular. What I hear from him is that everybody is treated equally no matter what. My greater concern is how when AT&T took over the work environment overall went from good to bad overnight. Quotas were doubled with less support. Management who had been managing their own schedules were put on a strange work schedule that took away flexability that had been given so long as work was done. And, this is a small thing, but money was cut for management retreats. To quote my relative, "I work for a Fortune 500 company, they can afford a one-day work retreat that includes food and a meeting room."

My guess is that it's the individual's in this situation that aren't following policy.
