Faisal is a charming guy with a real knack for creating delicious dishes. He told me the other day, he is doing "surprisingly well".

The KNS Bottom Line Blog had this to say:

"The cafe, which is open from 10:30 a.m.-3 a.m. Tuesday-Saturday, sells but isn't limited to a range of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Patrons can find what Petro touts as "global comfort food," including French pressed coffee, tea, wraps, sandwiches, salads and grains."

interesting stuff

I've met him and he is so nice. The food is great too. Its helpful if you are drinking on Market Square after the kitchens close and you can stop by and get some food. I read that Pres. Pub also has food now and I am assuming it may come from this cafe. Now I just hope that the places stay open after the auction. BTW, I also notice Mama Jans opened on the Square and they have coffee and there is a new place near Barley's in the old city called "Knoxville Pearl" that sells all you can eat breakfast cereal, seems very interesting as well. Check it out..
