Thursday's Knox News page 1:

Two stories on Knox County officials...totally apropriate unless you have a problem with them being black and female. (I don't)

One story on the Iraq soccer celebrations being bombed killing 50 people...and an inset pointing out Democsrats attempt to end the war...That's legit news.

The big story "focus" was on soldiers returning from the war and making babies. I isn't until page 8 that you find out that many of the fathers are back in Iraq when the baby is born...Well sort of legit for a first page but a bit rah rah for what should be noted as a national tragedy.

And we've lost Alfalfa, an owl.

That's totally more important than the story on page 5 about the highest ranking justice official in the United States of America lying under oath while testifying before Congress about his involvement in the Bush ADministration's spying on American citizens without warrants.

So the Attorney General of the United States committs perjury to cover up an illegal act that should get most of the Administration impeached and the Knox News Sentinal gives us...

The bird?
