In honor of the recovering-alcoholic President and the nation that wants to have a beer with him, in search of the punch line for the shaggy-dog war that is Victory in Iraq, I jest:

Q. What is the difference between the Bush administration and a bunch of maggots liquefying a dog turd?

A. There is no difference.

Seriously, the maggots are all brothers and sisters hatched from some fly that laid eggs on the pile, and the Bush administration is all cronies from Carlyle Group and its holdings. The maggots parasitize dog waste, and the Bush administration parasitizes fear. The maggots have never known anything but the taste of shit, and the Bush administration is cowards who never saw combat. The only outcome of the maggot feast is stink and more flies off to search for fresh shit, and the only outcome of the Bush regime is corruption and more war profiteers off to search for fresh fears.

You're the dog. Lick it up and shop it out; America needs you.

It’s beyond the Carlyle Group and way beyond Lil’ George. The problem most Americans have right now is that what doesn’t make sense makes more sense than reality. Everything adds up to prove there are REAL crimes being perpetrated in DC, but people just can’t believe they have been so thoroughly duped. I call it the “not me” syndrome.

Especially when that majority believes that their lives are not their own, they’re just marionettes with their strings controlled by an omnipotent being. The “I’ll pray about it” train of thought will and can no longer cut it. Not that anything is wrong with prayer, but we all need to read more than just the good book.

And the fact is the truth really does suck. America is going to have a tough go of it when all this gets aired, if it ever does on a mainstream basis. Google acknowledges 6.5 million views of Loose Change. Some say the true number is around 20million worldwide. If the average ticket is $8, that’s a $160 million movie. Somebody is watching, namely your kids. Ask them what they think about 911, you’ll be surprised.

Some of the problem can be found in the conversation here; (link...). I’m always amazed at what people are willing to convince themselves for sheer politics. Most people admit there are sinister issues before us, but the talk always goes back to one of political postures.

It’s not about your party; it’s about your country. Do be afraid to investigate. The web is something these dregs never anticipated.

At least the maggots serve a useful purpose in the grand scheme of things. The maggots might take offense to this comparison.
