Rich has moved the location of this weekend's Blogfest (July 28th) to Bailey's out west for the free wifi so that Blogathoner's like Cathy, Rich, Barry, and Doug can post every 30 minutes from Blogfest. Yeah live blogging! See you Saturday! Let's go for a better turnout than last weekend.

Sorry I wasn't there last week

I had a family emergency. I won't be at this weekend's meeting because I don't like driving out West. Bearden is about as far as I go..

I'd overthrow the meetup

I'd overthrow the meetup monarchy and move this thing closer to town, but then I'd be in charge of it, so I won't.

Personally, I think a meetup sounds like fun this weekend, but I ain't going out to Baileys. So y'all have fun!

There are fun places in

There are fun places in downtown, down the road in Lenoir and just up the way in Oak Ridge. Turkey Creek, Bearden, North & South Knoxville and every area that is really just Knoxville has something to offer and bloggers who live nearby. Knoxville is much more diverse than just downtown but it is still a small town that is easily and quickly traversed.

Hey, we could have it in

Hey, we could have it in Rocky Hill as far as I'm concerned, although I favor downtown. I just personally don't want to go to Bailey's or to go out to Bailey's.

Blogfest locations

As the monarch(???) in question, I'd just like to point out that I live in Sevier County. Bailey's is a long way out west for me.

But attendance at the Calhouns and Baileys Blogfests averaged 20-30 people. The last Barleys Blogfest had 4.

The fest goes where the festees go.

I have my subdivision picnic

I have my subdivision picnic this weekend, but it's supposed to be over by 7:30 or so. I'm on the HOA board, so I need to be there. But, Bailey's is pretty close, so I might drop by around 8:00.
