This last Friday, I had my opening at Abode on Market Square. I was pleasantly surprised to see a news camera there, and got a little face time on the 11 o'clock news. That's always wacky.

It's always cool to see something I've created hanging on someone else's walls, and this is the biggest show to date, everything from 8x10, 11x14 prints to a few 16x32 pieces. I've got some brand new pieces on display, and this is a cool series of images to represent the beauty of the artwork I create. Fractals are just the most amazing things to me, it's nature, it's organic, it's all numbers, it's all about finding the patterns in the fractal noise.

I met a lot of cool locals, including a young boy who loves math and wondered how I made these pieces. I gave him my card with the web site where he can grab a free copy of the software, and said to email me if he had any questions. I love, LOVE turning someone on to this stuff. He left with a big grin on his face, and that alone was worth the price of admission. Well, yeah, it was free to get in, but I digress. ;)

If you're in Market Square in July, pop in and take a look. There's not a lot of people working with Flame Fractals, so this might be something entirely new to you. I'm still trying to find my market, trying to find the crowd that enjoys this sort of thing.

My girlfriend's definitely

My girlfriend's definitely part of your market in interest--we saw your stuff there earlier today after eating at Trio. Your work is very impressive; once we've got a few nickels to rub together, I expect we'll be out to buy.

Hi there, Thanks for

Hi there,
Thanks for stopping in!

I'm glad people are discovering my artwork here, I've been in the area for coming up on ten years, but the print making is a recent thing. I did a show at the World Grotto 2 years ago, then the last few months I've had my work hanging at Stir Fry Cafe in Turkey Creek, and this is my third show so far.

Being such an ultra conservative area, I wasn't sure how well my work would be accepted, but I guess there are pockets of people that enjoy this sort of stuff around here, which is good to discover. I thought I was all alone for a while there. ;)

If you guys have any questions, feel free to contact me, there's links to get hold of me on both of the sites below.

Thanks-
