Who knew?

And another little detail...Al Gore III was driving...and maybe had some pot and some other stuff.

My son said, "That's just his way of saying he doesn't want his Dad to be president."

Maybe so.

True...

And neither did W's history of DUI nd drug use, but they didn't get publicly busted and they had the Republican purge network working on the historical record.

Gore won't run

As much as I'd like to see it, I don't think Gore will run. It's too bad about his son, but I don't think it will make any difference. He's already made up his mind; I don't think Al wants to face the neocon media slime machine again.

Speed

Per this, the Prius can go as much as 130 MPH.

I guess Gore should have gotten him a solar-powered car, or something with a little less juice.

I'd rather be cycling.

or over 100mpg?

...the Prius can go as much as 130 MPH.

There's a link there about averaging over 100mpg with a stock Prius by using a technique known as Pulse and Glide. Involves varying the speed between 30 and 40 MPH. Ever try that, skb or other Prius owners?

I suspect it got rather

I suspect it got rather tiresome driving 1,400 miles @ 30-40 MPH!

Do you have an average speed

Do you have an average speed computer on your car? Our average never goes above 30 miles an hour.
