So Steven Heller, a senior art director at the NY Times, professor at the School of Visual Arts in New York, editor of the AIGA Voice, and author of more than 100 books on graphic design, illustration, and popular culture and his coauthor, Mirko Illic, former art director for Time Magazine's international edition, happened to read my now-latent blog back in 2004.

Back in 2002, I posted a photo of Geronimo's grave stone at find a grave.com. About a month ago a lady from the University of Arizona in Tempe emailed me asking for a high resolution version and permission to use it in an upcoming documentary being produced by KAET Public Television.
It took me a while to remember where she could have seen my picture. "Geronimo grave" in Google brought up that page as the first hit.

You're right about the fact that you never know about blogs. Last year I posted a comment on an art site and the editor of a boating magazine called Pacific Yachting (it was about boats and art) read it and asked to reprint it in his mag. After we'd been corresponding for awhile, I sent him a short essay I'd written about sailing my boat alone from Lauderdale to Key West. Viola! It will appear along with my essay and a poem in the September issue. He also actually paid me quite well.
