In a previous post regarding States Rights and the proposed House Bill to overturn 200 state laws, the question was, “Why is the Federal Government trying to strip State Government of their rights?”

 

More recently it was reported that Lawmakers seeking to curtail food warning labels have personal ties to food industry lobbyists, critics said Monday.”

.

“The lawmakers have family, friends and former staff among the lobbyists for the bill.”

I hope the purpose is not to provide lobbyists a reason for being.

Lobbyists in Washington seem to be getting our elected representatives in a lot of hot water lately. What to do? What to do? Drop the bill maybe and work on something more important, like National Security or Healthcare or Education or Katrina Recovery or….
