I wish every politico had the gumption Commissioner Wendy has. If the 20 other Blount County Commissioners would speak out and stand behind what they say...well... we would have us a bit O'democracy, right here in Blount County.
Some day, some way I would like to see BC have a full blown on-line style town meeting. A place where we could sign up, speak up and make them answer our questions- in print. It is impossible to question the answers when you only have three minutes of floor time.
