Speaking of Congress and their responsibility to "support the troops" in his press conference yesterday, President Bush said:

"They're now failing in that responsibility, and if they do not change course in the coming weeks, the price of that failure will be paid by our troops and their loved ones."

And of course, the Bush administration's incompetence and failures and refusal to change course for the past four years has been the best thing to ever happen to America, our foreign policy, our standing in the world, and our troops and their families.

Of course Bush's war

has cost over 3000 American lives, an unknown number of innocent Iraqi lives, billions of our tax dollars and any good will we had left in this world. That is the price America has paid Mr so-called president.

Word games

...the Bush administration's incompetence and failures and refusal to change course for the past four years...

Not to mention leaving them short of body armor for so long, and shorting the military to bolster the ranks. Etc. etc.

Everyone susceptible to the right's words about "supporting the troops" should read this last Sunday's Doonesbury.
