According to this study, 22% of Americans surveyed could name all five Simpsons characters, but only 0.1% could name all five rights enumerated in the First Amendment. There were some other interesting findings, too. Sounds like the Simpsons should do an episode on the Bill of Rights.

Just off the top of my head, I came up with religion, speech, petition, and assembly -- damn if I could figure out what the five were until I read the text.

(Exercise and establishment are considered separate rights, huh?)
